The content on this website, in our digital products, in our coaching programs, in our classes, and in all communications from The Threshold Body is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not create a provider-patient relationship.

The information shared here — including Ayurvedic practices, nervous system support, postpartum care guidance, and embodiment practices — is not a substitute for the advice of a licensed physician, midwife, mental health professional, or other qualified healthcare provider. Always seek the advice of your healthcare provider before beginning any new health practice, especially during pregnancy or postpartum recovery.

Arrival & Cancellation Policies for in-person services

Out of respect for my time and the time of other clients, please plan to arrive on time. If you arrive late, I can only offer whatever time remains of your scheduled appointment — and you will be responsible for the full fee of the session length you reserved.

Please complete the New Client Agreement Form and Intake Form included in your Welcome Email at least 2 hours before your session. If forms are not completed in advance, please arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete the paper version on site. Time used to complete forms will not be added to your session.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. A credit card on file or prepayment is required to hold and guarantee your appointment. Your card will not be charged unless you do not adhere to the Cancellation and No-Show Policy below.

Bodywork Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your appointment

No charge

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment

50% fee

No-shows or cancellations made less than 2 hours before your appointment

100% fee

All charges will be collected via the credit card safely encrypted and kept on file.

Due to the nature of this work, I waive emergency no-shows and last-minute cancellations that are birth and labor related. Outside of this exception, the Cancellation Policy is strictly enforced in all circumstances — including first offenses and gift card reservations.

Ethics, Professionalism & Draping

Massage therapy is a licensed healthcare profession in the State of Delaware.

Mobile devices must be turned off or set to silent before entering the premises. Use of electronic devices during sessions is not permitted.

Any behavior, language, jokes, innuendo, or requests for services forbidden by law are strictly prohibited. Behavior or speech that is rude, harsh, or disrespectful toward the therapist will not be tolerated. Should any of these policies be violated, the session will end immediately, the full fee for the reserved time will be charged, and no refund will be issued. State or local authorities will be contacted if circumstances warrant.

Draping

Clients should not begin undressing until the therapist has left the treatment area. The therapist will not re-enter until the client confirms they are ready. Private areas of the body will be draped at all times. Should the drape be compromised at any point, please alert the therapist immediately.

Safe Communication

Please speak up at any time if something feels uncomfortable, distracting, or not right. Your comfort is the highest priority. Because each session is tailored and delivered in real time, refunds are not issued on services rendered.

Terms of Purchase

In-Person Sessions

Payment is due at the time of booking or at the time of service. Sessions are non-refundable once rendered. Cancellation fees apply as outlined in the Cancellation Policy above.

Online Studio Membership

The Studio membership is billed monthly on the date of enrollment. You may cancel at any time through your Kajabi account — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for the current billing period after billing has occurred.

The Village Membership

The Village membership is billed monthly at $10/month. Cancel within 30 days notice at any time by contacting Monica directly. First attendance is complimentary.

Digital Guides & Products

All digital products — including The Golden Window Postpartum Ritual Guide and all future guides, workbooks, and bundles — are non-refundable once access has been granted. If you experience a technical issue accessing your product, please contact [email protected] and we will resolve it promptly.

Courses

All online courses are non-refundable once enrollment access has been granted and course materials have been accessed. If you have not yet accessed the course and wish to request a refund, please contact [email protected] within 48 hours of purchase.

Ceremonies & Events

Ceremony and event payments are non-refundable within 7 days of the event date. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event will receive a full refund or credit toward a future event at Monica's discretion.

Coaching Program

Program Description

Sovereign Woman is a private, six-month somatic and embodiment coaching program designed to support mothers in reconnecting with their bodies, reclaiming their sovereignty, and moving through the threshold of deep personal transformation.
Your enrollment includes:
• Eight (8) private 1:1 coaching sessions held via Zoom
• Access to The Threshold Body private client portal on Kajabi for the duration of the program
• Downloadable module workbooks and somatic practice resources
• Email support from Monica within 48 business hours

Payment Terms

All payment plans are facilitated through Kajabi. By choosing a payment plan, you authorize The Threshold Body to charge your card on the agreed schedule. If a payment is declined, you will be notified and given five (5) business days to update your payment information before services are paused.

Refund Policy

Due to the personalized, time-intensive, and somatic nature of this work, all sales are final. The Threshold Body does not offer refunds after purchase. If you choose a payment plan, you remain responsible for all scheduled payments regardless of whether you complete the program.
In the rare case of an extraordinary extenuating circumstance, Monica may, at her sole discretion, offer a partial credit toward a future program or session. This is not a guarantee.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Sessions are scheduled at mutually agreeable times via the client portal. The following policy applies:
• You may cancel or reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are forfeited.
• Monica reserves the right to reschedule a session due to illness or emergency. She will notify you as soon as possible and offer a rescheduled time within 7 days.
• Unused sessions do not roll over beyond the six-month program term.

Transferability

Your enrollment in Sovereign Woman is non-transferable. Your coaching relationship is personal, relational, and specific to you. It may not be gifted, transferred, or reassigned to another person.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, workbooks, somatic practices, audio resources, and written content provided within the Sovereign Woman program are the intellectual property of The Threshold Body and Monica Seligmann. You are granted a limited,
personal, non-commercial license to use these materials for your own healing and growth. Reproduction, resale, or redistribution of any program materials is strictly prohibited.

Program Changes

The Threshold Body reserves the right to make modifications to the program structure, schedule, or materials. Any changes will be communicated to enrolled clients directly. The core scope and container of the program will be honored.

Service Disclaimers

Massage & Bodywork

Massage therapy services at The Threshold Body are provided by a Licensed Massage Therapist (MT: 0015128) in the State of Delaware. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical care. Clients with medical conditions, high-risk pregnancies, or recent surgeries should consult their healthcare provider before booking. Monica reserves the right to decline or modify a session if she determines it is not appropriate given a client's current health status.

Energy Sessions — Reiki, Embodiment Coaching & Complementary Modalities

Energy sessions — including Reiki, Feminine Embodiment Coaching, Birth Story Processing, Dream Birth Magnetization, and Embodied Boundary Work — are complementary and educational services. They are not licensed medical, psychological, or mental health services, and are not a substitute for therapy, counseling, psychiatric care, or medical treatment.

These sessions may involve somatic awareness practices and emotional processing. If you are currently working with a mental health provider, please inform Monica before your session. If you are in crisis or experiencing acute mental health symptoms, please contact a licensed mental health professional or crisis service before booking. The Threshold Body is not liable for any physical, emotional, or psychological responses that may arise during or after an energy session.

Ceremonies

The Held ceremony and all future ceremonial gatherings hosted by The Threshold Body are community and spiritual gatherings. Monica is not acting as a licensed therapist, doula, medical provider, or mental health professional during these events. Participation is entirely voluntary. All activities are offered as invitations — nothing is required.

Attendees participate at their own discretion. The Threshold Body is not liable for any physical, emotional, or psychological responses that may arise during or after a ceremonial gathering.

Digital Guides & Educational Content

All digital products, courses, and educational content published by The Threshold Body — including The Golden Window Postpartum Ritual Guide, The Female Body: An Unexplored Landscape, and all future digital products — are provided for educational and informational purposes only.

Content related to Ayurvedic practices, postpartum care, nutrition, nervous system regulation, and embodiment is not medical advice and does not replace the guidance of a licensed healthcare provider. Results vary. Individual experiences with any practice or recommendation may differ.

NOT A MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE
Monica Seligmann and The Threshold Body offer somatic coaching and embodiment education. This is NOT a medical service, mental health service, therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, or clinical treatment of any kind. The Threshold Body does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any physical or mental health condition. Nothing shared within the Sovereign Woman program, on this website, or in any communication from Monica should be interpreted as
medical, psychiatric, psychological, or nutritional advice.
If you are currently under the care of a licensed medical or mental health professional, please consult with them before beginning this program. COACHING VS. THERAPY
Somatic coaching and embodiment work is distinct from therapy. Coaching is forward-facing and growth-oriented. It is not a substitute for the clinical, diagnostic, or trauma treatment work performed by licensed therapists, psychologists, or
psychiatrists. The coaching relationship is not legally confidential in the way that a clinical or legal relationship is. Monica is committed
to holding your sessions with care and discretion, as outlined in the Coaching Program Agreement, but this relationship does not carry the same legal protections as a licensed therapeutic relationship.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
You are the expert of your own body and life. Monica will offer somatic awareness practices, reflection, and support, but all decisions made as a result of this coaching relationship are yours alone. You take full responsibility for your choices,
actions, and outcomes. Results vary. The Threshold Body makes no guarantees about specific outcomes. Your experience of this program depends on your willingness to show up, your readiness for this work, and many factors that are unique to you and your life.

SCREENING AND APPROPRIATE FIT
The Sovereign Woman program is designed for mothers who are generally stable and functioning, ready to grow, and not in active mental health crisis. If you are currently experiencing any of the following, this program may not be the right fit at this time:
• Active or recent suicidal or self-harming thoughts
• Active psychosis, mania, or acute psychiatric episodes
• Severe, unmanaged PTSD or dissociative disorders
• Active addiction requiring clinical treatment
• Serious mental health conditions not currently stabilized with professional support

If you are unsure whether this program is appropriate for your situation, please reach out before enrolling. Monica is committed to referring you to the right support if another level of care would serve you better.

SOMATIC PRACTICE NOTICE
This program includes somatic body-based practices. These practices are gentle and educational in nature. They are not clinical somatic therapy. If you have a history of trauma or body-related distress, please practice these offerings at yourown pace and always in consultation with your own healthcare providers.

the creation of certain aspects of the Content or Intellectual Property included on the Site, such

use is limited to ideation, concepting, and brainstorming. None of the Content or Intellectual

Property included on the Site was generated in draft or final form by Generative AI. All Content

and Intellectual Property on the Site shall be considered Intellectual Property of the Company

protected by and subject to the Intellectual Property provisions of this Agreement.

Option 3, if you never use GenAI on purpose but use tools that might incorporate it: While the

Company may use software or platforms that include features that employ machine learning,

large language models, or natural language processing that generate, analyze, or refine creative

and technical outputs (“Generative AI”), the Company is committed to not using those features

that incorporate Generative AI capabilities. For example, the Company uses Canva for graphic

design, but does not use the Canva AI feature that generates an image based on text input.

None of the Content or Intellectual Property included on the Site was created in draft or final

form by Generative AI. All Content and Intellectual Property on the Site shall be considered

Intellectual Property of the Company protected by and subject to the Intellectual Property

provisions of this Agreement.

CHANGED TERMS

We may at any time amend these Terms, including our Privacy Policy and Disclaimers. The date

of the last revision will be indicated by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Any such

Coaching Program Agreement

This Coaching Program Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into as of the date of purchase ("Effective
Date") by and between:
Coach: The Threshold Body | Monica Seligmann
Newark, DE and Client. Coach and Client are collectively referred to as the "Parties."
1. PURPOSE
Coach will provide and Client will participate in the Sovereign Woman private somatic embodiment coaching program, a six-month 1:1 container designed to support Client in reconnecting with her body, reclaiming her sovereignty, and moving through a threshold of personal transformation. Client will receive services in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
2. THE COACHING RELATIONSHIP
Client acknowledges that coaching is a partnership, not a directive or therapeutic relationship. Client agrees to show up honestly, participate fully, and take responsibility for her own choices, actions, and outcomes. Client agrees that coaching
results are co-created through this partnership and depend on Client's active engagement.
Client acknowledges that coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy, counseling, psychiatric care, or any other licensed professional service. The Threshold Body does not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental, emotional, orphysical condition. If Client is currently working with a mental health professional, Client is encouraged to notify that provider of this coaching relationship.
3. COACHING SERVICES
Coach agrees to provide the Sovereign Woman coaching program which includes:
• Eight (8) private 1:1 coaching sessions held over six months via Zoom.
• Access to the private Threshold Body client portal on Kajabi for the six-month term
• Six somatic-centered module workbooks for self-guided inquiry between sessions
• Email support from Monica within 48 business hours
• Personalized somatic practices and resources as appropriate to Client's process
Coach will not engage in services beyond the scope of this Agreement without prior written consent from Client.
4. SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION
Sessions will be scheduled at mutually agreeable times through the client portal or by email. The following scheduling policy applies:
• Client must give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session without forfeiture.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are forfeited at Coach's discretion.
• Coach will notify Client as soon as possible of any need to reschedule and will offer a new time within seven (7) days.
• Unused sessions expire at the conclusion of the six-month term and do not carry over.
5. COMPENSATION
Client shall pay Coach the following program fee according to the payment option selected at enrollment:
Pay in Full: $750, due at enrollment. 3-Payment Plan: $250 at enrollment, $250 at Month 2, $250 at Month 3
($750 total).
If Client selects a payment plan, Client authorizes Coach to charge the card on file on the agreed schedule. Payments more than five (5) business days late may result in a pause in services until payment is current.
6. REFUNDS AND TERMINATION
All sales are final. The Threshold Body does not offer refunds after enrollment. If Client chooses to discontinue the program, Client remains responsible for all remaining payments on the selected payment plan.
Either party may terminate this Agreement with 14 days' written notice. If Coach terminates this Agreement without cause,
Coach will provide a prorated refund for any prepaid, unused sessions. Coach may terminate this Agreement immediately, without refund, if Client engages in abusive, harassing, or threatening behavior toward Coach.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY
Coach agrees to hold all information shared by Client within this coaching relationship with care and discretion. Coach will not disclose Client's name or identifying information to any third party without Client's written consent, except as required by law or in the event of a risk of harm to Client or others.
Client acknowledges that the coaching relationship is not legally privileged in the manner of licensed therapeutic or legal relationships. Client agrees to hold confidential any proprietary practices, frameworks, or materials shared by Coach within this program and not to share, reproduce, or distribute them without Coach's written permission.
8. DISCLAIMER OF GUARANTEES
Coach makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding Client's results, outcomes, or transformation as a result of this program. Results depend on many factors, including but not limited to Client's engagement, readiness, and circumstances. All coaching is offered in service of Client's growth and is not a guarantee of any specific outcome.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coach's total liability to Client for any claim arising from this Agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by Client under this Agreement. In no event shall Coach be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All program materials, workbooks, practices, audio resources, and written content are the intellectual property of The Threshold Body and Monica Seligmann. Client is granted a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use program materials for her own individual use only. Client may not reproduce, share, sell, or distribute any program materials.
11. NON-DISPARAGEMENT
Both Parties agree to refrain from making false, disparaging, or derogatory statements about the other, publicly or privately, during or after the program.
12. INDEMNIFICATION
Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Threshold Body and Monica Seligmann from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Client's participation in the program or any action or inaction resulting from coaching.
13. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the Parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing any legal action. Jurisdiction shall be in Newark, Delaware.
14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties with respect to the Sovereign Woman Coaching Program and supersedes all prior verbal or written understandings. Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both Parties.
15. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By purchasing the Sovereign Woman program, both Parties agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
